This is all time favourite of all.We can rarely see people who dislike potato,and this one of the great potato fry i have ever had,ofcourse this recipe is from my sweet heart.He says it is coming great wen i make rather than his;).Have a great time.
Potatoes -5 nos
turmeric powder -1 tsp
sambar powder -1tbsp
chilly powder -1.5tsp
hing -a pinch
salt -to taste
mustard -1 tsp
urud dhal -1.5tsp
lemon juice -2tbl sp
METHOD
- Wash,peel the potatoes and dice them into big pieces and boil them with a pinch of turmeric and salt.
- Take a flat pan pour some oil in it and add the potato pieces and fry them till they become golden brown in medium flame .
- Now add,chilly powder,sambar powder and hing to it and mix them well.Keep it in low flame and turn it once they are fried well on one side.
- Take another pan add some oil to it,once it become hot add mustard and urud dhal,and fry till urud dhall becomes light brown in colour,make sure it is not burnt,add this to the potato and switch off the flame
- Finally add lemon juice to it,and enjoy ur spicy potato fry.:)
